Ultra-Seal® Grommets

HBX® Intercoolers are built with our Ultra-Seal® grommets at the tube to header joint.  Patented Ultra-Seal® technology replaces traditional tube-to-header brazing. Ultra-Seal® outperforms tube-to-manifold brazed intercoolers by absorbing damaging stresses and remaining stable under both high and low temperatures.  Tubes are allowed to expand and contract in the silicone grommets, not directly against the aluminum header.  This eliminates the tube to header leak failure brought on by vibration, cyclical temperature changes and increases in charge air temperature and pressure.

Bolt-On Side Supports & One-Piece Manifolds

Bolt-on side supports and patented one-piece manifolds improve durability by

eliminating welding found on traditional intercoolers. This eliminates the weld cracking common on many intercoolers.

Louvered Cooling Fins 

Advanced fin design achieves a high heat transfer rate and reduces the pressure drop through the core to deliver cooler, denser air to your engine. The compact design reduces turbo lag common to thicker, traditional bar & plate coolers.

HBX Radiators

HBX Radiators are the complete engine cooling upgrade accessory. All components are the highest performing, highest durability you can get.  And when combined, they form an assembly like no other in the industry:

• Cores are high-efficiency aluminum, with two rows of tubes to give your vehicle that 20-30% of extra cooling performance required in any severe-duty operating conditions.

• End tanks are solid, one-piece, cast aluminum with the exact features of the OE model for an exact drop-in fit.  These tanks are welded, not brazed or soldered, to the headers for maximum durability.

• Oil coolers are extra heavy duty for maximum thermal protection when you're pulling a trailer uphill in the summer heat.  For the transmission oil, we use a six plate cooler and for engine oil, a seven plate cooler.

• Our patented side supports are bolted directly to the top and bottom of the end tanks and core to lock the radiator into one solid assembly. This "locked" system keeps the radiator from twisting and flexing as a result of engine roll from heavy-duty and off-road driving.
